Please review our editorial and submission guidelines noted below. If your book aligns with the categories we represent, please feel free to use the template provided and send us your proposal and sample chapters. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Overview. Literary Management Group works with Christian authors who are writing faith-based books from an Evangelical perspective and general interest business/inspirational/self help books.
Author Coaching Guidelines. We are ready and willing to begin at any point in the story-boarding, writing or editing process. All we ask is each author has a deep commitment to excellence and is willing to listen.
Editorial Categories and Genres for Literary Representation. We specialize in representing adult, non-fiction books. We do not represent memoirs, fiction (adult or young adult), gift books, children's or illustrated books, poetry, or text/academic books.
Author Guidelines for Literary Representation. We limit our literary representation service to previously published authors with traditional publishers. We do not represent previously self-published books.
Submission Guidelines. If your idea or book fits with our editorial guidelines, please email the completed proposal using the template link on the How Do You Find An Agent page and the first few chapters for our review. Proposals and sample chapters should be sent to the attention of Bruce R. Barbour. We'll acknowledge receipt and have our decision back to you within four to six weeks of receiving the files.
Submission Formatting. Please submit proposal and sample chapters as a Word Doc. Do not format or design pages or send as PDF because this makes it much more difficult to reply with notes on your files.
